CCU is seeking a motivated, forward-thinking individual to join our team as a Loss Prevention Specialist. The selected candidate will identify probable losses in a timely manner and take appropriate action to keep them to a minimum. This will include managing outbound and inbound phone calls of past due members while documenting all communication regarding their account, ensuring that there is a firm repayment plan in place.  Additional duties include responding to garnishments, levies, and subpoenas, assisting members with disability, credit life and GAP claims, filing small claims and recommending any legal action and repossessions to management.  The ideal candidate will be well versed in debt collection compliance.  A minimum of two years of loss prevention / collection experience is required with familiarity with bankruptcies including responding to claims.   CCU offers competitive pay and excellent benefits. 

Primary responsibilities include: being committed to timely and accurate processing/funding/auditing of consumer and indirect loans that support and drive the growth of the credit union; being a critical eye for the credit union by reviewing and analyzing all documentation received to determine ratios/credit/collateral acceptability, including income verification documents, collateral insurance binders, purchase orders, bills of sales, collateral title and registration documents, completing the funding and disbursement of each consumer loan and prepare consumer loan documents for member signature; monitor and manage loan processor email inboxes to meet established service levels; contacting members and/or outside companies and dealers to negotiate final terms and coordinate signing appointments. Experience with CU Answers core and Mortgage Cadence are a plus.  CCU offers competitive pay and excellent benefits.
